Tsawa Rinam Rinpoche, known as Rangdröl Rinpoche, is the second son of Kangyur Rinpoche. He was recognized by Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche as the reincarnation of Tsawa Rinchen Namgyal, one of the main students of the first Khyentse (Khyentse Wangpo) and Jamgön Kongtrul, and also one of the emanations of Namkhai Nyingpo (a principle student of Guru Padmasambhava in the 8th century Tibet), who was in turn an emanation of the great master Hungkara (one of the eight Vidhyadara masters of India).

Rangdröl Rinpoche first studied with Kangyur Rinpoche, and later spent many years studying with and receiving many rare oral teachings and initiations from Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche, His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Kyabje Trulshik Rinpoche.
Rinpoche regularly teaches in the three-year retreats and occasionally guides group retreats. Rinpoche, who spends a lot of time in meditation retreat, also dedicates his time to guiding students on the path and to continuing the activities of Kangyur Rinpoche, Whether in France, Portugal, Finland, Holland and other European countries. Rinpoche also helps to oversee Songtsen’s ongoing projects and activities and is one of the principle teachers, as well as one of the main directors responsible for Orgyen Kunzang Chökhorling in Darjeeling, India.
